And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you – Luke 17:6-7 (NASB)

…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word (rhema) of God (Christos) – Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning — the first day. – Genesis 1:3-5 (NIV)

The Key to Faith is saying what

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law (Deut. 28:15-68), having become a curse for us — for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE” — in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Genesis 12:1-4 When Abram was years old

God to make him a “Great Nation”

Genesis 13:14-18 God promised to give Abram

Then Abram moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre (abundance), which are in Hebron (fellowship), and there he built an altar (worship) to the LORD. – Genesis 13:18 (NASB)

Genesis 15:1-6

But Abram said, “O Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless… – Genesis 15:2 (NIV)

So, God promises to give Abram an heir and descendants

Then he believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness – Genesis 15:6 (NASB)

Chapter 16:16 Abram is years old

Genesis 17:1-5 Abram is years old

Abram had the promise for years with no manifestation

God changed his name so he would

Abraham: “father of a multitude” from OT:1 Father, in a literal and immediate, or figurative and remote application) (Strong’s)

When Abraham began speaking the promise the began to manifest in months

Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. – Genesis 21:5 (NIV)

Abraham thanked God in for the

Without becoming weak in faith he (Abraham) contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory (Doxa) to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
