NOT QUICKLY BROKEN – 2

SHAKEN AND STIRRED

After this the Moabites and Ammonites, and with them some of the Meunites, came against Jehoshaphat for battle.   2 Chronicles 20:1 ESV

Who was Jehoshaphat?
King of Judah Young man Loved God Had a BAD Friend in Ahab

Before this day, Ahab talked him into unjust war – and then set him up to die in battle. Ahab died instead.

We can turn our fear to _________________. Faith is not the absence of Fear. Fear is the occasion for Faith.

God seeks __________________ with us. His Friendship is just and holy and seeks our good and benefit. When we align with him, He fights for us. 

O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.   2 Chronicles 20:12 ESV

When we ________ on God, we can know HE is present and powerful to save.

Meanwhile all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.   2 Chronicles 20:13

As believers, we are all ___________. And as the family of God, we come together  powerfully to praise Him.

.”  And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say,

“Give thanks to the Lord,
    for his steadfast love endures forever.”   2 Chronicles 20:20-21 ESV

We can praise God __________, because if we are fighting His battle and not ours, we know He will be with us. Praise comes before the battle that is already won.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.   Matthew 6:33ESV
