Christ Jesus not only offered himself in our place but actually for us in order that he might present us to himself as the perfect — radiant — and without stain or blemish. Ephesians 5:27

How does this unfaithfulness happen in the church? When the church adopts Jesus — another as it’s message.

The church can be faithful or to the Lord Jesus

The point is not what think about Jesus — the point is how He is in the Bible

When the Church from the written word of God she proves to be u to her bridegroom.

Sola Scriptura – The Scriptures are the supreme when it comes to faith and practice

III. Sexual Morality and the Standard of Christian Marriage

Sexual morality and the standard of marriage are under in ways that we couldn’t have dreamed of not that many years ago. 

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Why is promiscuous sexual relationships and unfaithfulness in marriage wrong?

a. God it is wrong

b. These things are not good for us as God us

c. It breaks the of what God intended marriage to be

“Marriage is set forth to be the illustration of the relationship of God and his people, and of Christ and his church…The relationship of God with is people rests upon his character, and sexual relationship outside of marriage breaks this parallel which the Bible draws between marriage and the relationship of God with his people.” ~Francis Schaeffer

We will approach the whole thing differently when we understand the purpose of marriage as God intended it

Going through — not giving up is a display as to how God does not give up on us
