It’s Complicated | Part 2 – Let The One Who Designed Them Define Them

Romans 1:21-25 (NLT) They knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools… As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie.

Worth-ship:  You see his worth above you. He gets to say what is right and wrong.

The devil has no power over you he just makes suggestions that are simply untrue.

Psalm 127:4 (NLT) Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.

As parents, we have the honor and the God given delegated responsibility to help answer those questions.

CAUSE OF CONCERN

• Children are being harmed and mental health issues are being ignored.
• We have 400,000 children added each year on average.  Over a 18 year period, statics are saying 1 in 7 children or 42 million children are sexual abused.

 

2. your kids and get health care through a Christian counselor if they are harmed.

• Protect them from online predators.
• 500,000 online predators active each day.
• 12-15 year olds are especially susceptible to being groomed or manipulated by adults they meet online.

CAUSE OF CONCERN

• Indoctrination and social contagion
• Social Contagion: Behaviors and beliefs spread through friend groups.

Galatians 1:6-9 (NLT) I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.

Malachi 2:15 (NLT) Didn’t the Lord make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth. 

So we have to monitor what or who is influencing our children and for us to be the godly influencers of our children.

Don’t be afraid to be the .

Revelation 12:17 (NLT) And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against the rest of her children- all who keep God’s commandments and maintain their testimony for Jesus. 

We must know who is around them, influencing them, and make the necessary changes.
