John 3:1-7   “You must be born again”

Ephesians 2:4-5 NLT  But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

  • We share of what Jesus Christ has done for us.

  • We share the .

Romans 3:10  NLT  No one is righteous—not even one.

  • TLB:  No one is good—no one in all the world is innocent.

Romans 3:23 NLT   For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Romans 6:23 NLT For the wages of sin is death . . .

  • We share the

Romans 6:23 NLT For the wages of sin is death . . . but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 NLT But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Romans 3:23-25 NLT  For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.  24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.

MSG:  Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.

  • We share the simple step of .

Romans 10:9-10 NLT  If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Romans 10:13 NLT  For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

  • We lead them in a of repentance.

A-B-C’s of Salvation

  1. Ask – God to forgive you of your sins
  2. Believe – that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and can make you
  3. Confess – Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life.

  • We share the of their action.

Romans 5:1-2 NLT  Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

Romans 8:1-2 NLT  So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT  This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Romans 10:14-15 Message!  But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them?  15 And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims, A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God!

“To reach people no one else is reaching we must do what no one else is doing.”
