Sustaining Grace What’s Amazing About Grace – Part 2 of 6

God’s Sustaining Grace Helps Me…

1. Keep standing when I’m

“Watch out for attacks from the devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour. Take a firm stand against him, and be strong in your faith.” 1 Peter 5:8

“We are tempted by our own desires that drag us off and trap us. Our desires make us sin, and when sin is finished with us, it leaves us dead.” James 1:14-15 (CEV)

“You can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can stand. When you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape. Then you will be able to stand it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

2. Keep standing when I’m

“Let us not grow weary in doing right, for we will reap a harvest of blessing if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

How To Receive God’s Sustaining Grace

1. Fill your mind with

“I am…completely discouraged; revive me by Your Word.”  Psalm 119:25 (NLT)

2. Accept support from  

“Love empowers us to fulfill the law of the Anointed One as we carry each other’s troubles.” Galatians 6:2 (TPT)

3. Call out for

“God resists you when you are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble. So then, surrender to God…Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you.” James 4:7-8 (TPT)

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.”
