Thinkers often misread feelers and think:

• “You’re being dramatic.”

• “You’re letting emotions cloud the truth.”

• “This isn’t that big of a deal.”

What’s actually happening for Thinkers:

• Logic becomes a shield against .

• Fixing replaces .

• Truth gets spoken without .

Feelers often misread thinkers and feel like:

• “You don’t care.”

• “You’re cold or dismissive.”

• “You care more about being right than being loving.”

What’s actually happening for Feelers:

• becomes the measuring stick for truth.

• Assumptions replace .

• Love is demanded before is offered.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                James 1:19-20

Understanding leads to unity, not uniformity
