My Church – Part 2 of 4
Jesus: “I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against that church.” Matthew 16:18 (NKJV)
“Out of the fullness of His grace He has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another.” John 1:16 (GNT)
To live in God’s blessing in 2026, I must…
1.Receive God’s through Christ.
“Through Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer.” Ephesians 1:3 (GW)
“God’s blessings are not given just because somebody decides to have them or works hard to get them. They are given because God takes pity on those He wants to.” Romans 9:16 (LB)
“God is ready to give blessings to all who come to Him.” Luke 4:19 (LB)
“Since…we were brought back to God by the death of His Son, what blessings He must have for us now that we are His friends and He is living within us!” Romans 5:10 (LB)
2.Respond with in worship.
“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.” Psalm 103:1
“I was glad when they said in me, let us go to the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1 (ESV)
“Now we rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God – all because of what our Lord Jesus has done for us in dying for our sins – making us friends of God.” Romans 5:11 (LB)
“Since God did not spare even His own Son but He gave Him up for us all, won’t God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?” Romans 8:32 (NLT)
3.Trust God’s by faith.
“Only faith can guarantee the blessings we hope for…” Hebrews 11:1 (NJB)
“God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything.”
2 Corinthians 9:8 (MSG)
4.Pass God’s on to others.
“God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance so that by always having enough of everything you may share abundantly in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NRSV)
“Remember that our Lord Jesus said, ‘More blessings come from giving than from receiving.’” Acts 20:35 (CEV)
What is God’s purpose for my life?
“Long ago, even before He made the world, God chose us to be His very own through what Christ would do for us. His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by sending Jesus Christ to die for us.” Ephesians 1:4-5
“Whoever believes that Jesus is the Messiah is a child of God.” 1 John 5:1 (GN)
“This is His purpose: when the time is ripe, He will gather us all together to be with Him in Christ forever.” Ephesians 1:10 (LB)
❖ Life is for eternity.
