GOD’S VISION FOR MY LIFE

KNOW GOD

FIND FREEDOM

DISCOVER PURPOSE

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.  I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:16-18 (NLT)

Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. Psalm 2:8 (NLT)

KEEP A CLOSE WATCH ON MY SPIRITUAL TEMPERATURE

Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Romans 12:11 (NLT)

You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. Revelation 2:3-5 (NLT)

MAKE TIME FOR AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER FOLLOWERS OF JESUS

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrew 12:24-25 (NLT)

SEE MYSELF THE WAY GOD SEES ME

Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Romans 12:3-6 (NIV)

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith Romans 12:3-6 (NIV)

LIVE WITH HEAVEN IN MIND

For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things. Philippians 3:18-20 (NLT)

…and they think only about this life here on earth.  But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.  Philippians 3:18-20 (NLT)
