Worry and Anxiety

Effects of anxiety in your life:  

1. I feel more .  

“…I had no time to care for myself.” Song of Songs 1:6  

2. I lose my .   

“My days go by faster than a runner. They fly away without my seeing any joy.” Job 9:25  

3. I’m less  

“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

4. I stop caring for .

“The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.”    1 Corinthians 6:20 (MSG)

5. I have a disrupted    

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you. Because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3

“God wants his loved ones to get their proper rest.” Psalm 127:2 (LB)

6. I can’t .   

“Our God says, “Calm down, and learn that I am God!” Psalm 46:10 (CEV)

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Mark 8:36 (NKJV)  

How To Manage My Anxiety

1. Be aware of my own   

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test my thoughts. Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad…” Psalm 139:23-24 (LB)   

2. Get enough and watch   

“You may say, ‘I am allowed to do anything.’ But I reply, “Not everything is good for you.” 1 Cor. 6:12 (NLT)  

3. on God’s Word.  

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”  1 Peter 5:7   

4. Get

“Anxious fear brings depression, but a life-giving word of encouragement can do wonders to restore joy to the heart.”  Proverbs 12:25 (TPT)

5. Learn to God’s peace.  

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

“In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.” Psalm 94:19

6. Get an perspective. 

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4: 16  

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  Ephesians 6:12
