Love People // The Right Direction [Part 2 Of 4]

May 26, 2024

Jesus: “As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

Six ways to love people:

  1. Accept their .

“Accept one another just as Christ accepted you.” Romans 15:7

I am accepting when I don’t insist others be LIKE ME.

“Love does not demand it’s own way.”  1 Corinthians 13:5 (LB)

  1. Trust them with .

“You can put confidence in someone who is trustworthy.” Proverbs 11:13 (GN)

“As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” John 20:21

  1. Do life .

“All the believers devoted themselves to…fellowship.” Acts 2:42 (NLT)

  1. Affirm their .

“…Love looks for a way of being constructive.” 1 Corinthians 13:4 (Ph)

“Encourage one another and build each other up.”  1 Thessalonians 5:11

Three practical ways I can affirm others:

“Jesus looked straight at him with love…” Mark 10:21 (GN)

“An open rebuke is better than hidden love.”  Proverbs 27:5

“I thank God every time I remember you.”  Philippians 1:3

I need to affirm others every 24 HOURS.

“Encourage one another daily.” Hebrews 3:13

  1. Correct without being .

“…Speak the truth in love.”  Ephesians 4:15

“Don’t use harmful words…use only helpful words, the kind that build up.” Ephesians 4:29 (GN)

  1. Never .

“Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything.” 1 Corinthians 13:7 (Ph)

“He who began a good work in you will continue it until the day of Christ.” Philippians 1:6
