Anxiety:
DSM-5; Excessive anxiety (angst) and worry occurring more days than not for 6 months about
a number of events or activities.
Effects of anxiety in Your life:
1. I feel more and lose my joy.
“My days go by…they fly away without me seeing any joy.” Job 9:25(NCV)
2. I have disrupted cycle and stop caring for my body.
“…I had no time to care for myself.” Song of Solomon 1:6 (GNT)
 
3. I can’t God.
“Our God says, “Calm down, and learn that I am God!” Psalm 46:10 (CEV)
Manage anxiety in Your life:
1. Be aware of my own .
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test my thoughts. Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalm 139:23-24 (TLB)

 

2. Get .
“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.” Proverbs 12:25 (ESV)

 

3. Meditate on .
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

 

4. Learn to access God’s .
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG)

5. Get an eternal .
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4: 18 (NIV)
