Choose my relationships carefully

“A mirror reflects a man’s face but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.” Proverbs 27:19 (GN) 

• Nurture my relationships.

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:7-8

• Restore my relationships.

“Do not repay evil for evil… if it is possible as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:17-18

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13

• Sever any relationships.

“He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.” Proverbs 13:20

• Initiate some relationships.

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25

Four relationships I should initiate

1. Develop my relationship with

“…You are members of God’s very own family… and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19 (LB)

2. Develop my relationship with

“All the believers met together constantly and shared everything with each other.” Acts 2:44 (LB) 

3. Develop my relationship with

“There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” Ecclesiastes 4:8-9

4. Develop my relationship

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:13 (NLT)

2024 WINTER/SPRING SMALL GROUPS

The small group semester is 13 weeks: February 4th – May 4th

There are all types of groups but most fall into 1 of 8 categories: Students, Marriage, Women, Men, Prayer, Freedom, Financial, and Outreach.

Start by coming to our Small Group fair before and after each service today and meet a small group leader.

Choose a few groups to check out and be sure to contact the leader before you visit to confirm the time and location of the meeting.
