ATTITUDES TOWARD OTHERS 

“Keep my distance” Luke 10:30-31 

“Curious but uninvolved” Luke 10:32 

“Treat others how I want to be treated” Luke 10:33

HOW CAN I BECOME A KINDER PERSON?

1. NOTE THE  OF PEOPLE AROUND ME. “When he saw the man’s condition, his heart went out to him.” Luke 10:33b (MSG) 

“Look out for the good of others.” 1 Cor. 10:24 (NCV)

2.   WITH PEOPLE’S PAIN. 

“When he saw him, his heart was filled with pity.” Luke 10:33 (GN) 

“Share each other’s troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 (NLT)

3. THE MOMENT TO BE KIND. 

“Kneeling beside him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with medicine and bandaged them.”     Luke 10:34a (TLB) 

“Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor, ‘Maybe some other timewhen the money’s right there in your pocket.” Proverbs 3:27-28 (MSG)

4. WHATEVER IT TAKES. 

“Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him. The next day he handed the innkeeper two pieces of silver and told him to take care of the man. If his bill runs higher than that, he said, I’ll pay Luke 10:34b-35 (NLT) 

“If you feed the hungry and take care of the needs of those who are troubled, then your light will shine in the dark. The Lord will always lead you and He’ll satisfy your needs in dry lands… You’ll be like a spring that never runs dry!” Isaiah 58:10-11 (NCV)
