“…the wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. What am I going to give Jesus?

1. We can give God our hope. 

“When they saw the star, they were filled with joy!” Matthew 2:10 (NLT)

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5 (NIV)

“Those who hope in me will not be disappointed.” Isaiah 49:23 (NIV)

2. We can give God our fervent pursuit. 

“…the wise men went their way.” Matthew 2:9 (NLT)

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” John 4:23 (NIV) 

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

3. We can give God our worship.

“One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating.
