“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ.”  Romans 10:17   

WHAT DOES FAITH DO?  

1. Faith Determines What God Can Do In My Life.  

“According to your faith, it will be done unto you.” Matthew 9:29   

2. Faith Can Solve Impossible Problems. 

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:20

3. Faith Is The Key To Answered Prayer. 

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”  Matthew 21:22   

4. Faith Is The Secret To Achievement. 

“Everything is possible for him who believes.” Mark 9:23    

5. Faith Is The Basis For Miracles. 

Jesus: “Anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing, even greater things.” John 14:12    

6. Lack Of Faith Is A Sin. 

“Everything that does not come from faith is sin.” Romans 14:23   

7. Faith Is The Way To Please God. 

“Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 11:6   

8. Faith Produces Success In Living. 

“The victory that overcomes the world is our faith.” 1 John 5:4         

WHAT IS FAITH?  

1. Faith Is Stretching My Imagination. 

“God is able to do more than that you think or imagine.” Ephesians 3:20  

“The Lord took Abram outside and said, ‘Look at the heavens. Count the stars, indeed, if you can count them! So shall your offspring be.’ Abram believed the Lord and He credited it to him as righteousness.”  Genesis 15:5-6   

2. Faith Is Taking The Initiative. 

“Daughter, your faith has made you whole…” Mark 5:34 (KJV)   

3. Faith Is Risking A Failure. 

“We walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Cor. 5:7 (KJV)  

4. Faith Is Expecting The Best. 

“According to your faith it will be done unto you.” Matthew 9:29   

5. Faith Is Waiting For The Answer. 

“I waited patiently for the Lord and he heard my cry and delivered me.”  Psalm 40:1   

6. Faith Is Following God’s Instructions. 

“By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8  

“Trust in the Lord and do not lean on your own understanding.”  Proverbs 3:5   

7. Faith Is Being Persistent. 

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9    

8. Faith Is Rebounding From Failure. 

“God says, ‘Forget the former things. Do not dwell on the past. See! I’m doing a new thing. Now it springs up. Do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19
