SEEING WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO SEE // BYOB [PART 5 OF 7]

ILLUMINATION:

Letting the show me the of God’s Word and how it to my life.

 

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.”         Eph. 1:18 (NIV)

 

WHEN GOD OPENS MY EYES, I SEE…

 

  1. THE TO MY PROBLEMS. 

“Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water.  So she went and she filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.”  Genesis 21:19 (NIV)

 

  1. THE FROM WHAT’S ATTACKING ME. 

“Elisha prayed, ‘O Lord, open his eyes that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked out and he saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha!” 2 Kings 6:17 (NIV)

 

  1. HOW GOD IS WITH .

When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.” Luke 24:30-31 (NIV)

 

PREPARING MYSELF TO SEE WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO SEE…

 

  1. ESTABLISH MY RELATIONSHIP WITH

Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 3:3 (NIV)

 

  1. ASK GOD IN FAITH TO .

“Open my eyes that I might see wonderful things in your Law.”     Psalm 119:18 (NIV)

 

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt.” James 1:5-6 (NIV)

 

  1. COME TO THE WORD WITH A ATTITUDE.

 

“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” Psalm 25:9 (NIV)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
