Story of the Shrewd Manager: Luke 16:1-13

WHAT NOT TO DO WITH MONEY:

1. DON’T it.

“The manager was accused of wasting his master’s possession.” Luke 16:2 

“If you borrow money with interest, you’ll end up serving the interests of your creditors…” Proverbs 22:7 (TPT)

2. DON’T it.

“No servant can serve two masters.  Either he will hate the one, and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.  You cannot serve both God and money.” Luke 16:13 (NIV)

3. DON’T it.

“What am I going to do now?  I’m losing my job…” Luke 16:3 (NIV)

WHAT TO REMEMBER EVERYDAY

1.  It to God.

“(The Owner) hired a manager to run his business and oversee all his wealth.” Luke 16:1 (TPT)

2. It shows if .

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.  If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?  And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?” Luke 16:11-12 (NIV)

Three things God wants you to do with your money:
