Becoming Emotionally Alive // Fully Alive [Part 5]

BUILDING AN EMOTIONALLY SOLID HOUSE…

1. WE LAY A FOUNDATION BY OUR…   and .

“The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.’” Genesis 2:18 (NIV)

 “There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth.” Ecclesiastes 4:8 (NIV)

2. WE BUILD A FRAME BY OUR…  and .

 “Where there is no vision the people perish…” Proverbs 29:18 (MEV)

 “These commands are like a lamp; this teaching is like a light. And the correction that comes from them will help you have life.” Proverbs 6:23 (NCV)

3. WE ENHANCE BY OUR…  and .

 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change…
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it. 
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next. AMEN
