Mark

Who is This Jesus?

When Believing Leads to Seeing!

Mark 10:46-52

A different view of Faith

1. Faith even when we can’t see

Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Vs. 46-47

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Hebrews 11:1

2. Faith the moment

When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Vs. 47

3. Faith through

Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Vs. 48

4. Faith Specifically

“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” Vs. 51

Truth to Take Home

Life Changing faith

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Vs. 52

Life Changing faith Jesus

Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Vs. 52
