Isaiah 66:2 

2 “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.”

Samuel:

Christians ask for God’s favor to receive divine empowerment, protection, and guidance, allowing them to fulfill God’s purpose and experience his blessings beyond their own efforts. BS
