Benedictions are blessings you speak upon another person.
Doxologies are an expression of praise and blessing to God.
When we speak blessings, we are praying God’s will into other people’s lives
These are things God wants for YOU, whether you deserve them or not!
These are things we should pray for other because God wants them for them….whether they deserve them or not!
When we speak/pray blessings for our “enemies,” we are praying God’s will into their lives
The command to love one’s enemies does not appeal to the emotions but to the will.
Jesus did not command his followers “to feel” in a certain way but to in a certain way…so bless!
Learn to impart the blessings of BENEDICTION….Because you’re being like Jesus and you’re praying God’s desire for others when you do.
The reward for the one who blesses others:
Proverbs 11:25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.
