Genesis 2:18b It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

I. Serving Jesus Brings

The Body of Christ needs you!

1 Corinthians 12:12-14 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being man, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

1 Corinthians 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath please him.

II. Serving Jesus Brings Humility

You need the Body of Christ!

Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

III. Serving Jesus Brings

The world needs us to be the Body of Christ!

1 Corinthians 12:24-25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

Acts 9:36b This woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
