Money is uniquely connected to our hearts.
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
I. Realize That God Is My .
Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord and depart from evil.
Finding peace in our financial lives does not begin by looking over our financial portfolio but by humbly looking to God.
Deuteronomy 8:18a But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth,
Romans 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
II. God First.
Proverbs 3:9-10 Honour the Lord with thy substance, And with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, And thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Deuteronomy 14:23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be meat in mine house, And prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, If I will not open you the windows of heaven, And pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Proverbs 3:13-15 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, And the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, And the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: And all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
Happiness refers to a contented heart not about what you have.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
IV. the Peace God Will Give.
Proverbs 3:18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: And happy is every one that retaineth her.
First: Prepare a budget.
Proverbs 21:5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; But of every one that is hasty only to want.
Second: Save money each month.
Matthew 5:45b He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender.
Third: Pay your debts down from smallest to largest.
Financial peace does not begin with a great financial plan because it begins by realizing God is our source.
Luke 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
