“Minister The Same One to Another”- 1 Peter 4:7-10
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Love and a willingness to serve others are intended to be an earmark of authentic people to show that we all matter.
I. Be When We’re Under
1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
“Before you can help others, you must be spiritually healthy with your eyes on Jesus.”
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Stay close to Jesus and learn to respond rather than react.
II. Be – Especially Towards Those Who
1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: But love covereth all sins.
Matthew 5:46a For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?
III. Be Without
1 Peter 4:10 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
Proverbs 18:24a A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly.
IV. Be Through Your Life’s
1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 Corinthians 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1 Corinthians 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
