“Go to My Father” – Luke 15:11-24, Matthew 6:9

Matthew 6:9 – After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
And as it begins by saying, ‘Our Father,’ we see that prayer is first a matter of relationship.
Once a person is spiritually saved, we are forever saved.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Luke 15:30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
Luke 15:15-16 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

Repentance means that we come into agreement with God’s will and that leads us actions that bring us into alignment with God’s will.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And they began to be merry.
