4 “Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. 5 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
BIG IDEA: God is not just a part of our lives: He is our .
WHAT ARE WE GETTING WRONG WITH OUR CHILDREN?
- We too .
“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6

Galatians 6:7
The key is to recognize that sometimes we do things with good intentions that don’t end up having a beneficial result for our children.
3. We too .
“Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.”
I John 2:15
4. We too .

“And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.”
John 17:3
2. The and of God in His church.
“They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God.”
Psalm 92:13 (ESV)
- We must learn the power of prioritizing church over something else; instead of everything else over church.
3. To a worth .
“And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”
Mark 12:30-31
4. To a they want to .
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
I Timothy 4:12
THE GOAL: Your faith would become a faith in your children.
This only happens when we hold the VALUE of being not just Christian.
