PRAYER VISION FOR 2025
Mark 9:28-29, we observe Jesus training His disciples in real time.
They were perplexed because they were unable to cast a demon out of a young boy:“And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ And he said to them, ‘This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.’”
As we reflect on Jesus’ response, we must also note what He did not say. He didn’t tell them the boy needed a different exhortation, a prophetic word, more teaching, or even greater faith.
Instead, He emphasized that their prayer life—their private place of seeking God—was not where it needed to be to move this particular demon, stronghold, and bondage.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO RECOGNIZE THAT HE SAID THIS TO HIS CLOSEST DISCIPLES.
Individuals who had previously raised the dead, cast out demons, healed the sick, and preached the Kingdom of God. They asked Jesus why they couldn’t cast this particular demon out because every other person they prayed for had been set free.
Jesus succinctly and unambiguously communicated that unless the disciples increased their private place of prayer, they would not be able to overcome this level of bondage. If we continue to pray in the same manner we have over the last 2-3 decades, the growing and intensifying bondages we face in society will remain unmoved.
- Issues such as men competing in women’s sports.
- States putting tampons in boys’ bathrooms.
- Transgender surgeries for children without parental consent, and abortion on demand—just to name a few.
- These are examples of demonic strongholds that will continue to thrive unless the Church raises its level of prayer.
Even with a conservative House, Senate and White House these issues will not disappear without prayer.
If the Church does not respond with a greater depth of prayer, these strongholds will persist.
I believe that it is paramount that ROL sees a strengthening of its prayer core. 25, 50 and eventually 100 intercessors. It was June of 2024 that God spoke to me about raising up 100 Intercessors from ROL.
We had several times last year that we saw 50 intercessors gather for prayer.
To my knowledge, this has never been done before. The end goal is to identify and raise up at least 100 intercessors who will fast, pray, and contend for revival and awakening in our community and in America.
By doing what Jesus instructed—raising the level of prayer—I believe, by God’s grace, we will witness deliverance in areas that currently seem impossible.
This initiative is one of the major undertakings I will pursue throughout 2025.
I believe that many people struggle in their prayer life, not knowing how to pray, and struggling with feelings that their prayers are insignificant.
-That is not true. The weakest Christian on their knees or on their face makes demons tremble.
-History rides on the backs of intercessory prayer.
-I foresee a time when the church will regularly have people coming and going throughout the day, praying and seeking God.
-I believe it is a MANDATE FOR ROL. in raising up a prayer force that is so desperately needed.
-The place of prayer is the most important place for the Christian. It supersedes all other activities.
-The Bible position on prayer is that we might know Him.
-When Jesus spoke to us in Matthew 6, He said, “When you pray, when, when you fast, and when you give.”
-In the Old Testament, the term “secret place” comes from the Hebrew root word cether, which means “to hide or be concealed.”

-The term “secret place” appears dozens of times in both OT & NT. SECRET = [KRUPTOS] =(Hidden)
MEANS: “THE PLACE OF QUIETNESS, WHEN YOU ARE AWAY FROM DISTRACTIONS, AWAY FROM EVERYTHING EXCEPT GOD.
-2nd Meaning is the moment of quietness in dealing with the hidden man.
Psalm 32:7–The secret place is a place, and both a moment in time. It is a destiny of God where we are changed. God speaks to us about us.
Many Christians have had their SECRET PLACES. WHERE God revealed Himself in a special manner. Some people have a closet, a chair, a table, a desk which becomes your place of impartation.
The location isn’t as important as the commitment to get alone with God.
Jacob called HIS place Peniel – where he experienced God.
-Moses went to the mountain.
-Jesus went to the mountains to get alone with God.
IN YOUR SECRET PLACE WE HAVE TIME TO HEAR FROM GOD.
You have to protect your secret place. It is impossible to get quiet with God, when your phone, and laptop are zinging and dinging/ notifications.
-Isaiah was in the secret place, the year that King Uzziah died, and he saw the Lord lifted up – “God spoke to Uzziah about his own heart, to which he responded, “I am a man with unclean lips, I need you God.”
-The greatest revelation is WHEN GOD SPEAKS TO YOU ABOUT YOU AND ME in the secret place.
A CHURCH HAS TO PROTECT HOW WE SEEK GOD:
Today, we have programmed our church services so tightly that we haven’t left room for the Holy Spirit.
-We are so worried about leaving dead time in the services that we just push things on.
-It hinders our ability to seek God on an intimate level.
1. THE POWER OF THE SECRET PLACE.
- Imagine with me, a section of our community invaded by the presence of God. A divine hunger for souls and a bonified move of God that only God can answer in a sobering display is needed in society today.
- We have seen for far too long what humanity can produce; it’s time to partner with the Holy Spirit to see what God can do as He works through us.
- God is no respecter of persons. He is looking for someone to be available. Don’t let your mind be flooded with excuses as to why you couldn’t be the next person that God could use to see a neighborhood, a area or a person rocked by the power of God.
- LET THIS BE OUR FOCUS: “God work through me. Lord, move through me. Touch me, Jesus, with your power so that I can make a difference.”
- I pray that the Holy Spirit will arrest you, and that He will put a pick me, use me, flow through me mentality.”
Matthew 5:6
Vs. 6(AMP) “Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.”
-When was the last time we said, “God I’m going to wait upon you?”
-Being Desperate for God means you are willing to run after God.
-Rather than a convenience, there must be a desperation.
-Rather than a sense of pragmatism can I encourage you to have a reckless/ abandonment?
-There is a place where you develop a TRUE DESPERATION FOR GOD. IT GOES BEYOND CIRCUMSTANCE YOU – put a stake in the ground and declare, I HAVE TO SEE GOD MOVE IN MY LIFE.
A. DESPERATION WILL PRODUCE THE SPIRITUAL AND SUPERNATURAL.
-When people talk about revival, about an awakening that piques my interest.
“Matthew 5:3, “Blessed are the poor in Spirit- the “Ptchos”= Those who realize the plight of their spiritual condition. Those who realize that they are in need of God.”
REWARD: For theirs is the kingdom of God.
-God is looking for a seeker. A looker. He is looking for those who will wrestle with God like Jacob “God, I won’t leave until you bless me.”
*****You cannot be in the presence of God and be bored at the same time. For that matter, you cannot be in the will of God and be bored at the same time.
“Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and then he will flee.”
-There is a place where everything becomes non-important. Hearing him becomes paramount.
-He becomes your best friend. He becomes your joy in the night. He becomes your everything.
-The greatest way to overcome temptation is to have more of Jesus.
-When we look at America, and the world, it doesn’t take long to arrive at the conclusion that we are desperate for a heaven-sent awakening.
-If good preaching and well to do events were going to cause mass repentance and an OPEN HEAVEN, it would have occurred a long time ago.
-The soul of America is deeply searching for something beyond fads, the latest, the greatest or the most recent Instagram. Our area, our nation needs an awakening.
-When I think about HELENE in the mountains of the east coast. When I think of the Fires on the West Coast….It causes me to ask God for His mercy on our nation.
-This story is a microcosm of our nation.
ILLUS.: When I hear of stories of children who are 7 years of age, and sent home with assignments where children are asked to watched DRAG QUEENS prancing around in sexual overtones and write their feelings about what they saw. My soul is troubled. By the fact that there is even a debate that Drag Queens should be involved in Children’s Education reveals that America is in a time of utter decadence.
B. DESPERATION COMES IN MOMENTS OF PAIN.
Job. 19:14 “My relatives have failed me, and my close friends have forgotten me.”
When you’re all alone. I want you to know there is a PEACE.
He is a husband to a widow. A father to the fatherless, a friend to the friendless.
God is causing you and I to become desperate for him.
ARE YOU IN TROUBLE? What will you do? ARE YOU IN A BAD WAY? FIND THE SECRET PLACE.
I still believe in the Power of God. I still believe what is possible in the scriptures. God delights in moving in situations where there are no natural human possibilities.
- WE NEED THE REALM OF THE SUPERNATURAL.
This is where God wants us to be- in the realm of the supernatural, the miraculous, the spiritual.
John 14:12 “Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works that these he will do, because I go to my father.”
To hear HIM through an ominous utterance, to trust Him in the moment of doom, to embrace His strength when you’re weak with a burden. In the NT people were attracted to POWER. The NT Church was either in riot or revival. Sometimes at the same time. They were healing the sick, casting out demons, praising God, speaking in other tongues(languages) and being burned at the stake. No one was ever bored in that Church.
IT IS GOD’S WILL FOR THE CHURCH TO HAVE SUPERNATURAL POWER …HEALING POWER…DELIVERING POWER…POWER TO PULL DOWN STRONGHOLDS…POWER TO BREAK CHAINS OF MISERY,AND HABITS THAT ENSLAVE. POWER TO CONVERT, AND POWER TO CONVICT.
Our gospel is a gospel of power: I Cor. 4:20 “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power.”
Ps. 62:11- “One thing I have heard…’You Oh God are strong.”
Matt. 28:18 “All authority in heaven and earth has been given unto me.”
Luke 10:19”I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome All the power of enemy, nothing will harm you.”
Where is Jesus? He is at the right hand of God. The position of Power. He is coming back, in great power and in great glory. How will He rule? With a rod of Iron-THAT’S POWER!
2. THE POWER OF AGREEMENT.
When Christ returns to rule. He will not ask the opinion of the New World Order, the ACLU, the feminists or the world council of churches. He is the mighty God, the King of All Kings, the Lord of all Lords. Many are struggling today for survival. Financially, emotionally, and spiritually. The secret is learning to release daily the POWER OF AGREEMENT in your life. It begins with knowing that God has voted for you. The devil has voted against you, and your vote makes the 2/3rds majority.
The Bible speaks of twos: It is not multiple choice. It does not describe many roads going to one destination.
There are only two positions. Saved or lost; wheat or tares; sheep or goats; heaven or hell; light or darkness.
We are either the servant of Christ or the servant of satan.
- There is a two-edged sword of the word of God, with power over principalities and powers. Jesus sent his disciples out two by two.
- There are 2 roads: The Narrow and the Wide. There are 2 worlds: The world that is now, and the world that is yet to come.
Ecc. 4:9-12 “Two are better than one. 1 can rout a 1,000. 2 can rout 10,000. God’s power kicks in with quantum force when you add a second dimension.”
Dominion starts with AGREEMENT. Our goal is to get the Church together to prayer. That is power.
Matt. 18:19 says” If any two of you can get into harmony, I will leave heaven itself and come to you, and together we will destroy the hinges of the gates of hell.
5 in Agreement can do more than 1,000 in discord. Joshua and Caleb demonstrated this when they faced the giants that the other 2 million were afraid to face. Paul and Silas were in the jail cell and began to sing praises to God about midnight. They walked out with keys in one hand, and a convert in the other. Satan would like to divide you, but the moment that happens, you lose the power of two. Satan’s first attack was the husband and wife- to divide them. This is why husband, and wife must get into spiritual agreement.
Why do we need this agreement? Because we have supernatural enemies. His objective is to divide. He is our sworn enemy. HE COMES TO “STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY.” He wants to wring us out and throw us to the bone yard of human wreckage.
Satan-the father of lies, and great divider. He loves to cause problems. THE BATTLE IS SPIRITUAL; IT IS NOT PEOPLE. Eph. 6:12
- Satan is the father of fear and the great devourer, a roaring lion seeking whom He may devour.
- Remember His goal is to intimidate, divide and manipulate.
- He assisted in his work of destruction by a hoard of helpers, they are called demons. They are very much alive.
Make Jesus your Highest Priority in 2025. Jesus choose His disciples so that they might be with Him.
Mark 16:17 “These signs shall follow them that believe.”
How many believers do we have?”
The Church is to remember that we are called to conquer not cower. In the Bible we find that Satan has names. His helpers have names. They have an intellect. A will. They have the ability to speak. They are totally committed to our destruction. It takes two in agreement to take dominion over demonic forces.
- Someone who is not covered by the blood of Jesus, is powerless to resist the supernatural power of the enemy, and his demonic forces.
- He can easily destroy the marriage, the home and the children.
- The authority of agreement begins with the power of two.
Jesus identified a strong man, a supernatural being that controls people. Jesus is the stronger man. He takes the armor and gives it to us.
Use your power and go on the offensive and attack! Use your power!
ILLUS.: There was a young man in Texas who had given his heart and life to Christ. He had been a master drug salesman. The Drug Underworld wouldn’t let Him go. They wanted Him back in the business the parents were distraught. God gave a plan. The parents invited these drug dealers over to supper. (Esther did that). After supper and serving these men graciously, they politely asked them to leave their son alone, because he had given his heart to Jesus Christ. They said no. The parents asked again. They said no. The parents then said: we are commanding you in the name of Jesus to leave our boy alone, and if you do not, we are together releasing God’s power on you.” The men laughed got up walked out. 6 months later all fived unfortunately were dead, killed in separate accident cases.
[The word for agreement is “symphono” = harmony. You are either in harmony or out of tune. When two get into harmony, God’s power is released.]
God says, if we get in harmony, He’ll make a personal appearance.
ILLUS.: A number of states are looking to give puberty blockers to children. Simply put, good preaching and nice church buildings won’t change this, WE NEED AN AWAKENING.
I just want you to know I will agree with you that God can give you a new spirit, a new heart, a new life. We can put a new suit on a man, but God can put a new man in the old suit!
The blessing of the Lord flows when there is harmony. The result of unity is found in Ps. 133 “How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in harmony.”
PUT ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, FORGET ABOUT THE PAST. Be a blesser, not a complainer.
Live in the TREE OF LIFE. How many want a NEW AGREEMENT? I have a prayer for you. Dream your dreams.
When God gives them, no one will stop you. IT IS REVIVAL, AWAKENING OR BUST!
