“REACH OUT & TOUCH THE LORD!”
So many times, in life, we don’t have the answer.
So many times in life, we don’t understand.
So many times in life, we don’t know what to do.
So many times in life, we don’t know what to say.
So many times, in life, we don’t comprehend where we find ourselves. How many know that?

Isaiah 59:1
–When you get touched by the hand of the Lord, you go FROM BEING CAST DOWN TO BEING LIFTED UP.
-When you get touched by the Lord, you go from BEING FULL OF FEAR to FULL OF FAITH.
-When you get touched by the Lord, you go from BEING FULL OF SADNESS TO BEING FULL OF GLADNESS.
THAT IS WHAT THE TOUCH OF GOD WILL DO FOR YOU
1. USE YOUR FAITH TO TOUCH THE LORD.
No one can ever take away anything God has given you except yourself.
Hebrews 11:1
What is not seen is your evidence.” Hebrews 11:6
Hope deals with deity; Faith deals with details.
Hope deals with God. Faith deals with how to get in touch with Him.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Hope says that allows you to say, “My God is bigger than any circumstance.”
Hope says, “Though the night is dark, I know joy will come in the morning.”
Hope says, “I don’t like what I am in, I don’t like what I see, I don’t like what I am experiencing, but I put my faith in God.”
2. USE YOUR PRAISE TO TOUCH THE LORD.
I Timothy 2:8
You’re not breaking my praise and getting me to let go of the promise.
-I have a prophecy over my children.
-I have a prophecy over my marriage.
-I have a prophecy over my livelihood.
-I have the gifts of God in my life, and nothing’s going to make me let go of the sword of the spirit.
-I’m not going to allow you to break my arm.”
-I have prophecy over my joy….I prophesy to my joy…..get up, get up…
Psalms 9:1-2
- My first responsibility is to minister to Him.
- My Second Responsibility is to depend on Him.
Matthew 20:28
WORSHIP IS A SURRENDER.
Communion -We are reminded of His body.
Baptism -We are reminded of Christ’s death.
Worship: We are reminded to surrender our hearts and wills to Him.
-When you praise, you’re making a declaration. “I’m still holding to the promise.”
-When you worship, even though you’ve had a terrible week sometimes, that’s the time to really raise your hands and say, “Devil, you hit me, but you didn’t break my arm. “
-I’m still clinging to the truth by His stripes. I’m the head and not the tail. I’m blessed. I’m not cursed. I’m victorious, not defeated.
-The word says it, and I believe it. And it looks like I’m losing, but I’m winning as long as I’m holding the word of God.”
3. USE YOUR WEAKNESS TO TOUCH THE LORD.
Song: “Reach out and touch the Lord as He goes by, You will find He’s not too busy, to hear your heart’s cry. He’s passing by this moment, your needs He will supply. Reach out and touch the Lord as He goes by.
John 16:33
Jesus gave us the three cheers:
“Be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven thee.”
“Be of good cheer; It is I; be not afraid.”
“Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
VICTORY HAS A VOICE. YOU HAVE TO TALK THE VICTORY.
You have to get to that moment, and I love it WHEN THAT MOMENT COMES when something snaps in YOU!
Something says, “I have surrendered and given up all that I’m going to give up. I’m taking back everything that has been taken.”
