FIRST – First Step – Trust  

 What is your plan to seek the king first this year? 

What is you plan for leading your family? 

What is your plan for the first day of the week? 

What is your plan to experience God thru your giving this year? 

 

To wrap up the series I want to talk to you about the first step that we must take if we are going to have any kind of experience with God; the step of trust. 

 

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 
6 In all your ways acknowledge him, 
    and he will make straight your paths. 

 

The what of this verse is trust. 

The who is the Lord. 

The how is with all our heart. 

The depth is don’t lean on your understanding. 

The path is acknowledge him in your ways. 

The reward is that your path will be God inhabited. 

 

Trust is the connection to the involvement of God inhabiting and intervening in the path of your life.

 But the key to God’s supernatural involvement in communicating to you – and intervening for you – and interceding for you – and inter-acting is this key commodity called trust. 

 What is trust exactly?

    and he will make straight your paths. 

This verse defines the kind of trust that God is looking for in three different ways. 

 

First, it is an “all your heart” thing.

Second definition is – trust… And don’t lean on your own understanding.

Leaning and depending on our own understanding is one of the greatest competitors when it comes to trusting in the Lord with all our heart. 

 

Trust is acknowledging God in all my ways. Not some of my ways.

There is only one part of this verse that is not connected yet. It is the object of our trust; the LORD.

Revelation 19:11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

PRIMERO – Primer Paso – Confianza 

 

¿Cuál es su plan para buscar al rey primero este año? 

¿Cuál es su plan para guiar a su familia? 

¿Cuál es su plan para el primer día de la semana? 

¿Cuál es tu plan para experimentar a Dios a través de tus ofrendas este año? 

 

Para concluir la serie quiero hablarles sobre el primer paso que debemos dar si vamos a tener algún tipo de experiencia con Dios;  El paso de TruSt. 

 

Proverbios 3:5 Confía en el Señor con todo tu corazón, y no te apoyes en tu propio entendimiento.  
6 Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus caminos. 

 

El qué de este versículo es la confianza. 

El que es el Señor. 

El cómo es con todo nuestro corazón. 

La profundidad es no apoyarte en tu comprensión. 

El camino es reconocerlo en tus caminos. 

La recompensa es que tu camino será habitado por Dios. 

 

 

La confianza es la conexión con la participación de Dios habitando e interviniendo en el camino de tu vida.

6 Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus caminos. 

 

 

Pero la clave de la participación sobrenatural de Dios en comunicarse contigo – e intervenir por ti – e interceder por ti – e interactuar es este producto clave llamado confianza. 

 

¿Qué es exactamente la confianza? 

 

Proverbios 3:5 Confía en el Señor con todo tu corazón, y no te apoyes en tu propio entendimiento.  
6 Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus caminos. 

 

Esteversículo define el tipo de confianza que Dios está buscando de tres maneras diferentes. 

 

Primero, es una cosa de “todo tu corazón”.

La segunda definición es: confianza… Y no te apoyes en tu propio entendimiento.

Apoyarnos y depender de nuestro propio entendimiento es uno de los mayores competidores cuando se trata de confiar en el Señor con todo nuestro corazón. 

 

Trust es reconocer a Dios en todos mis caminos. No algunas de mis formas.

6  Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus caminos. 

 

 

Sólo hay una parte de este versículo que aún no está conectada. Es el objeto de nuestra confianza; el SEÑOR.

Apocalipsis 19:11 Entonces vi el cielo abierto, y he aquí, ¡un caballo blanco! El que está sentado en él se llama Fiel y Verdadero, y en justicia juzga y hace la guerra.  12 Sus ojos son como una llama de fuego, y sobre su cabeza hay muchas diademas, y tiene un nombre escrito que nadie conoce sino él mismo.  13 Está vestido con una túnica bañada en sangre, y el nombre por el cual es llamado es la Palabra de Dios.  14 Y los ejércitos del cielo, vestidos de lino fino, blanco y puro, lo seguían en caballos blancos.  15 De su boca sale una espada afilada con la cual derribar a las naciones, y las gobernará con vara de hierro. Él pisará el lagar de la furia de la ira de Dios el Todopoderoso. 16 En su manto y en su muslo tiene escrito un nombre: Rey de reyes y Señor de señores. 

 

Puedes confiar en él.
