God’s Gift of Love

Big Idea: 

In 1 Corinthians 13:13, we are told that the greatest gift we can receive is love. 

The Lord communicates his love in many ways, but there is one form of communication that goes beyond all others. This expression of love is found in the physical presence of the Christ. 

Hebrews 1:1-3a

God overcomes our stubborn hearts by drawing near to us.

John 14:1-4

Jesus promised to include all who believe in him into his gift of eternal life. 

John 14:5-7

We can only know the gift of God’s love through Jesus Christ.

John 14:5-7

Jesus does not point us to a path that we must follow, he is the path. 

John 14:8-11

This is the true message of Christmas, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

You can experience this kind of personal relationship with the Lord if you come to him in faith, confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
