Boldness and Opportunity

Acts 5:17-42
Big idea for today: “Go and tell the people all about this new life.”
Acts 5:17-21a and Acts 4:29-30.The church prayed for and received the gift of God’s boldness. This boldness came with a challenging opportunity.
Matthew 5:10-12The Lord never hid from anyone that saying yes to trusting Jesus as your Lord and Savior will come with a cost.
Acts 5:27-32The Apostles were called to speak a particular message to the unbelieving world. This same message was explained further in 1 Corinthians 5:12-13.
Acts 5:40-42We can be inspired by the Christ-like example of others. We receive the gift of an eternal perspective when we see our troubles through God’s eyes.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18Fix your eyes on the Lord and his eternal promises as you embrace the call to be bold.

In honor of Veterans Day (11.11.25), we would like to give God thanks and praise for those among us who have sacrificed their time, energy, family connections, and their very lives in the pursuit of ensuring freedom in our nation and across the world. In an effort to show our gratitude, there will be a short time of recognition for all active and retired service members during the service today.
