Powerful Name

Acts 3:1-4:31
Principle: Within the events found in the message of Acts we find great truths that can and should be applied to our lives. Today’s passage reminds us of the power of knowing and calling on the name of Jesus Christ.
Acts 3:12-16This man’s life was changed by the will and power of God and nothing else. We are called to entrust our needs to the Lord and to trust in his will. There is no such thing as “Christian magic”.
Acts 4:3-4The Power of God can be seen in our willingness to remain faithful during times of trial and stress. Those around us need to see the truth of our faith in hard times.
Acts 4:8-12Peter’s boldness came from the leadership of the Spirit and from his response of faithfulness during his own times of trial and struggle.
Acts 4:18-22Faithfulness to God will at times place us in opposition to man.
Acts 4:29-31The church prayed for what? What are you asking the Lord to do in and through you today?
