The Plan – Movement of God

Acts 2:1-12

Consolidation Acts chapter one teaches us that the Lord was at work preparing his people for their Spirit-led mission. We can see that in the call to gather, wait, pray, and seek out good leadership.  

Immersion

In Acts 1:4-5, the Lord told the church they would be immersed in the Spirit.In John 14:15-18, 25-27, we hear about the nature of this promised Counselor and Advocate. 

The movement of God – Acts 2:1-121.

The people were faithful to gather, wait, and get ready. 2. The movement of God in three parts: wind, fire, and word.

Calling

If we want to be a part of the movement of God that we see around us today, then we must prepare our hearts and our church through unity, prayer, and by choosing to be a part of God’s future.
CommitmentWe will close the service with a time of personal worship and commitment as we partake in the gift of the Lord’s Supper (Communion).
