Why I Believe – Design in Creation
August 3, 2025Psalms 102:25-28, Psalms 19:1-4
Today, we begin a new three-part series seeking to address three key examples of evidence that support our collective faith in the work and person of the God of the Christian Bible. ApproachTalking about observable design in the universe does not need to be framed as an argument between those who hold faith in the theory of evolution versus faith in the claims of creation found within the Christian Bible. The goal in any such discussion should be to articulate what you hold to be true – and why – rather than the winning of an argument. Perhaps we might all be able to share in the message of Psalms 102:25-28. Today we will talk about the following examples of design in creation: 1. Irreducible Complexity2. Similarity3. Stability4. Purpose Built
Psalms 19:1-4The goal for those seeking truth should be to prioritize humility over arrogance.
* Note * The Lord’s Supper will be served after the third worship song and before the message today. Please take a moment to prepare your heart for this physical act of worship as we offer up our own personal praise to the Lord.
