Great Expectations – Living the Dream

Truly great expectations come from living life with and for Christ.  Here are a few truths we can expect if we choose to live our lives like this

• Eternal life – this life is not all there is 

• John 3:16

• Peace in the day to day – God is in control

• Philippians 4:6 & 7 

• We are never alone – 

• Matthew 28:20 

• Strength for the journey – He will sustain us

• Isaiah 40:29-31 

• Course corrections as needed

• Proverbs 19:21 

• Proverbs 16:9 

• Don’t have to be afraid – Don’t be afraid, Do not fear, appears 365 times in the Bible
So how do we set our expectations for life from a Godly perspective?

1. Have the right foundation – relationship with God 
2. Have the right perspective – what does God think

• What is important to Him?

• Matt 22:37-40 Love the Lord your God with all your    Heart…

• John 13:34-35 Love one another

• Matt 28:18-20 Go and make disciples

• What does He think about me?
• What does He want from me?
