Growth Over Perfection

Primary Scripture: Luke 9:18-26

Our calling is like a point on the horizon.
We move toward it, but we never arrive in this life.
Luke 9:18-20
Jesus ask two powerful questions of his disciples.
Who do the crowds say I am and who do you say I am?
Luke 9:21-22
Jesus makes his calling and purpose clear.
Luke 9:23-26
We too have been given a calling and purpose.
All of these markers are points on the horizon.
We will work toward them, but never arrive.
