The Gift of Peace – Advent Week Four

The big idea for today is that, “real peace is a gift.”

We are going to see that we need to receive:

1 – Peace with God 

2 – Peace from God

We discover the gift of peace with God in the following:

Read Colossians 1:15-17 – WHO HE IS

Read Colossians 1:18-20 – WHAT HE HAS DONE

Read Colossians 1:21-23 – THE EFFECT OF HIS WORK

We discover the gift of peace from God in the following:

Read Philippians 4:4-7

Verse 5 – THE LORD IS NEAR

Verse 6 – THE LORD CARES

Verse 7 – THE LORD PROVIDES

Following the message we will enter into a time of personal worship and commitment to God as we join together to take the elements of the Lord’s Supper.

Christmas Eve:

This Tuesday, December 24, we will have two services to help our family of faith better celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please feel free to take an invite card with you to give to someone you would like to bring with you to the services. They are found at the info desk in the foyer.
