Journey to Christmas: Mary’s Response
December 10, 2023Today our Journey to Christmas finds the angel Gabriel sharing God’s plans with Mary. Without a doubt, Mary is one of the central figures in the Christmas story. She was chosen because she was “highly favored” by the Lord. Even in her lack of complete understanding, she trusted Him.
Ultimately though, the story of Christmas isn’t just about Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. It’s about you and me and God’s redemptive plan for mankind. We can learn a lot from Mary’s example of faith.
