The Value of Scripture

The longest of the Psalms is Psalm 119. It is an extensive meditation on the importance of the law of God.
The psalmist uses 10 different terms throughout the 176 verses that refer to the Word of God. In fact, this comprehensive
chapter repeats these 10 terms nearly 200 times referring again and again to the instructions of God’s Word (only verse 122 is absent of a reference).

Scripture protects us. – (Psalm 119:11)
Scripture enriches us. – (Psalm 119:14)
Scripture delights us. – (Psalm 119:16)
