In the School of Prayer

Luke 11:5-13

Introduction

Jesus’ disciples wanted to learn better how to pray. They did not ask Jesus to teach them to preach, or to do great miracles; they asked Him to teach them to pray. (Luke 11:1)

Prayer is a dialogue. It includes both talking and listening to God. A healthy prayer life comes to God on a regular basis.

We learn a valuable lesson from this story/parable. If an earthly father gives what is best to his children, surely the Father in heaven will do even more.
