Building Your Life on the Right Foundation

Matthew 7:24-29

At the close of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, he teaches about the importance of a solid foundation. A disciple lives with
intentionality. A disciple wants to be grounded on something that stands the test of time. So Jesus teaches about a foolish person and a wise person.

The certainty of storms

The reliability of a foundation

The credibility of the Word

(28) When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, (29) because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
