Let’s Talk About Money and Wealth

Proverbs 3:9, 11:4, 13:8

Introduction

Good morning! Glad you are in worship this morning. Today we are looking at a very practical topic. Money is an everyday matter.

It may or may not surprise you to know that Proverbs is full of truth about: earning, saving, spending, investing, and giving.

Woven throughout this book is the truth that:  Wise people love God and use money to honor God as well as help other people. Unwise people don’t trust God and use money for selfish purposes.

Jesus often spoke about money.

Note the following:

Good stewards honor the Lord with wealth.

Good stewards understand that in the end wealth doesn’t matter.

Good stewards practice discipline with money and wealth.
