        Old Testament – Exodus 23, Numbers 28, and Deuteronomy 16     
              Also known as Festival of Weeks
                  50 days after Passover
                  Celebration of and thanking God for the harvest                           
                  Holiday atmosphere – no work, people were to come to Jerusalem 

        New Testament – Acts 2

        Jesus Promised to send the Holy Spirit – John 14:15-31
        The Work of the Holy Spirit – John 16:5-16
        The Preparation for the coming of the Holy Spirit – Acts 1:4-8 
        The Sending & Receiving of the Holy Spirit – Acts 2
        Harvest of Souls & Birth of the Church – Acts 2:41-47
