Easter Celebration

1 Corinthians 15

Happy Easter to you!!

Easter is a high point in the Christian calendar. At Easter we celebrate a risen Savior. We are reminded of the great hope we have in following Jesus.

What sets Christianity apart is that our leader overcame death. He came out of the tomb. The garden tomb of Jesus is famous not because of what is inside, but because it is empty!

The resurrection is a core value of the Christian faith. Easter is not just a nice story. It is so much more. Paul the apostle, dedicates the entire 15th chapter of 1 Corinthians to the subject and importance of the resurrection of Jesus.

Note the following:

We gather to celebrate that Jesus is alive.

We gather to celebrate that Jesus provides victory over sin and death.

We gather to celebrate that Jesus provides purpose in life.
