Joseph: A Hero for Our Day

Do you have a hero in life? Sometimes we talk about sports heroes, movie heroes, business heroes, even super heroes. Webster defines hero as: a person admired for achievements and noble qualities; one who shows great courage.
One of the most interesting persons in the Bible is a man in the Old Testament named Joseph.
Nowhere in the Scripture is anything bad ever said about Joseph. He was a true hero. Hebrew parents could tell bedtime stories to their children about this Old Testament leader. Joseph was a man whose life really counted for God. Let’s see what lessons we can learn from him.
Note the following:
He knew how to handle adversity.
He knew how to say no to temptation.
He knew how to forgive.
He knew how to honor God.
