Priorities: What is Most Important?

Mark 12:28-32

What is the most important thing in your life? What is a priority to you?

During Jesus’ day a religious scribe came to Jesus with a question. In Mark 12:28 the scribe asked – “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”  

We should understand that the Old Testament contained some 613 commandments. Of those 248 tell us to do something positive and 365 prohibit us from doing something negative. The scribe was asking Jesus which one of these was most important. 

In 2022, you can give your time and attention to any number of things. You can devote your calendar and money to a lot of interests.

Loving God is a priority 


Loving people is a priority


Loving yourself is a priority
