Living Hope

May 1, 2022

1 Peter 1

The book of 1 Peter is written to churches in ancient Asia Minor (modern day Turkey). The writer is the apostle Peter.  Many rich themes comprise the five chapters and 105 verses of this New Testament letter. One of the great messages that grows out of this book is the reality that Christians possess a living hope even in the midst of times of suffering.

This book is helpful for the times in which we live. Christianity is often looked on as antiquated in a post-Christian world. Being a person of faith may mean that you will suffer because you identify with Jesus. How are we to live out our faith in 2022?
