Legacy of Praise

Introduction
Today we stop and recognize the 75 year history of Park Hill Baptist Church. It was in April of 1947 that a solid base of charter members came together to establish this church. As I read back through some church history, I was stuck by the following comment: “From the first, the people of Park Hill Baptist have sensed God’s leadership. They have been a people of prayer, of vision, of action. May it ever be so!”
The psalmist recognized the goodness of God over the course of his life as well. He penned the words of Psalm 145. In this unique chapter you find a legacy of praise flowing from the heart and life of David.
What can we learn from the opening verses of this psalm?
The regular practice of praising God
The unchanging greatness of God
The continual responsibility to tell the next generation of God
