Come and See

John 1:43-51

Introduction

Today we begin a new message series called – Encounters with Jesus. Over the next five weeks we are going to be looking at some of the conversations and experiences that Jesus had with people in the gospel of John.

It’s impossible to study the life of Jesus without noticing the way that he engaged people, loved people, and mixed with people.

Let’s look at a man named – Nathanael. He also goes by the name Bartholomew. Most scholars believe this is one and the same person. There isn’t a lot mentioned about Nathanael in the New Testament.

He represents those that are skeptical about Jesus.
